Grants for Youth Sports

ALL KIDS PLAY 

Acknowledging the escalating expenses of youth sports, All Kids Play understand that certain families and communities may be unable to afford it. That’s why All Kids Play offers financial support to these groups. Our program provides grants to eligible families with children in grades K-12, as well as non-profit community-based recreational sports organizations located in low-income areas, on a need and first-come, first-served basis, subject to the availability of funds. These grants may be utilized for registration fees, equipment, and other associated costs for sports classes, recreational leagues, and travel sports.

Every Kid Sports

Every Kid Sports offers grants that aim to cover youth sports registration fees for kids from income-restricted families. The organization’s mission is to enable these kids to participate in youth sports and to benefit from the positive experiences that come with playing sports. By providing financial support for registration fees, Every Kid Sports hopes to remove the financial barriers that may prevent these kids from participating in youth sports and to give them an opportunity to develop valuable skills, build self-esteem, and foster social connections through sports.

Wonders Baseball

Fort Worth Wonders Program – Sycamore Parks and Recreation

 

Welcome to The Fort Worth Wonders, a youth baseball development program in partnership with the Fort Worth Parks and Recreation Department and ABG Sports Academy. Our program is designed to teach children the fundamentals of baseball, while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.

Here are some reasons why you should join The Fort Worth Wonders:

  • Learn the basics of hitting, catching, throwing, infield, outfield, and the rules of the game
  • Develop your physical and mental skills in a fun and safe environment
  • Improve your teamwork and sportsmanship through games and activities
  • Meet new friends and have fun playing baseball
  • Our program is open to boys and girls aged 9 and 10, and we welcome children of all skill levels.
  • We have partnered with the Fort Worth Parks and Recreation Department to provide access to some of the facilities and resources in the city.

Volunteers and Coaches

Volunteers needed for the 2022  Dragons Baseball Season.  We are in need of assistance in all facets of the organization, you can volunteer coach, mentor, or assist in fundraising for the organization.  Please note that all volunteers will have to pass a background check prior to working with kids and families.

Texas Dragons Girls Baseball

Texas Dragons Girls Baseball is for all-girls who want to play baseball in Fort Worth area. This baseball program was set up for so girls can who have been told they can’t play baseball because of their gender will have a place to play. Allowing girls to cultivate their skills and offer them the chance to build a sense of belonging with girls who love to play the game.

We are looking to have teams ranging from ages 4-18. These teams will play locally as well as travel regionally to compete in all-girls and co-ed baseball tournaments. We will practice weekly learning this wonderful game of baseball.  

all interested players should fill out the prospective player form. We will begin in January 2022
